A Louisiana mother who was a model and actor for decades is now mourning her mother who died of an overdose of prescription pills in Texas.
Kelley Lee is now 77 and had been living in Austin, Texas, where she was a stay-at-home mom to her two children.
She told the Associated Press on Monday that her mother was “a lovely lady.”
Kelsey Lee was a star in Hollywood for more than 40 years, starring in films such as “The Mummy” and “The Shining.”
She also starred in the ABC series “The View” from 2002-06 and appeared in movies such as ”A Place in the Sun” and ”Lonesome Dove.”
Kelleys mother, Kelsey Lee, pictured in 2010, died in July after an overdose in Texas, her sister said in a statement.
